Who We Are.The soon-to-be married couple.

Mike & Ashley
Mike & Ashley That's Us!

We are super excited to meet you here on this beautiful island, but until then, here is a little about us: Ashley Morgan is originally from Greer, SC and Michael King (Mike) is from Austin, TX. We both moved to Hawaii after receiving cheerleading scholarships to Hawaii Pacific University. Although we were just friends for the first few years, it all began in our modern day "summer of love" - June 2006! Mike's best friend just moved home for the summer and Ashley moved in to house sit. We continued to hang out and before long, we were inseparable. Over the years, we have supported each other in furthering our careers and living the Hawaiian dream. Ashley currently works as a paralegal in downtown Honolulu and teaches night classes at a local college. Mike is vice president of interactive design at one of Honolulu's leading software companies. We are now ready to take the next step (ok, more like a giant leap)! We hope you can join us on our wedding day as we begin our new lives together as one!

Our Awesome Wedding.Yeah, it's going to be sweet!

Our wedding will take place on the North Shore of Oahu at Loulu Palm Estate on June 12, 2014. The estate is a plantation style home, built in 1941 and sits on a mile long private beach between turquoise blue water and lush tropical mountains. Come comfortable in your shorts and "slippahs" (Hawaiian for flip flops) and get ready to celebrate Hawaiian-style with beautiful surroundings and great friends and family.

Island Accommodations.For all you mainlanders!

Okay, so here is the scoop... We live in Honolulu/Town (on the South Shore), which is very close to the Waikiki tourist area. This is where all the restaurants and hotels are located. Our wedding will take place in Haliewa/Kahuku, which is on the North Shore. The North Shore is about a 45 minute drive from South Shore. We recommend staying in Waikiki or somewhere on the South Shore prior to the wedding and then on the North Shore from the day before to the day after the wedding. This way we can meet up and plan activities/beach days together and you won't have to drive all the way back to town after the wedding. Depending on how many people are in your party, this will help determine the most cost effective accommodations.

Hotel Only

If you need to sleep 4 or less, then a hotel in Waikiki will probably be your best route. You can find good deals on hotels from this website:

For the wedding and north shore accommodations, we are recommending that people stay at the Turtle Bay condos. They have great deals and the condos are very nice. They are on the same property as the Turtle Bay Hotel (which is actually quite expensive) but you get to use all the hotel amenities when you stay at the condos. The North Shore is a great place to stay because it is away from town and is more secluded. Here is a link to reserve the Turtle Bay condos. You can choose East or West, they are just across the street from each other: They have condos that start at around $125 that sleep 4 and $155 that sleep 6 that come equipped with fridge, stove, etc.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We would be happy to get you more info on the place you choose before you book!

Get rid of your jet lag and meet us at Ala Moana Beach Park for a relaxing Sunday BBQ. Grab your drink of choice and bring something to throw on the grill! This is a great beach to break in your sea legs as the water is very calm. This beach is located on the south shore directly across from Ala Moana Shopping Center, the world's largest outdoor mall. Get some sun and enjoy some shopping!

Today we will be exploring the east side of the island and hosting a beach BBQ at Makapu'u Beach. The drive to this beach alone will confirm that this trip was worth the flight!

Monday night we hope you can join us for a Luau at Germain's Luau. Eat some traditional Hawaiian food, enjoy Hula dancing and learn about polynesian cultures. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can get a group rate!

Want to get away from the crowds? Let's head to Mokuleia on Oahu's northernmost tip. This secluded beach will be a great place to wrap up a week of adventure! There is nothing to eat on this side, so bring something to throw on the grill and plan to stay and relax for a while!
